VAST (Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture)

“An interdisciplinary journal and an organic extension of VAST’s education, advocacy, and community-building mandate. In this space, we develop and maintain a repository of research about mental health, available to the community.”

I’m honored to be an associate member on their editorial board and to have published an article in their 3rd edition and their 5th addition, as well as now being an associate board member. I feel it’s so important to the trauma care environment of “safe-enough” spaces, to understand our own nervous system as facilitators and providers of care. Our 6th volume was just published.
